Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden Wedding
"This nation will remain the land of the free only so long as it is the home of the brave", Elmer Davis.
Happy Fourth of July! I hope you have had a great long weekend with your family and friends! It's so important to remember who makes it possible for us to celebrate this country's 240th birthday not only on holidays, but everyday. I am so thankful for our brave men and women in uniform and feel honored to have had the opportunity to work with some of them during such an important time in their life.
Heather and Danny's wedding day was timeless. In a feature from Junebug Weddings (see it here) Heather was quoted as saying "Looking back at our pictures, we feel like our wedding could have taken place 10, 20, or 50 years ago, and we love that". This was one of the most beautiful weddings I have been a part of, and not just aesthetically - the amount of love surrounding this couple was all encompassing. In addition to the classic traditions they incorporated, US Military traditions were brought in to pay tribute to Danny, who is a Naval Officer, and welcome his new bride to the navy. The most thoughtful detail? A personalized note at each guest's place setting, handwritten by the bride. What a perfect way to let them know just how much Heather and Danny appreciated them sharing their day. So, so lovely.
Rob + Kristin did an amazing job capturing this special day and I am so excited to finally share these images!
These two are so lovely. Take a look back at their engagement session here.
