Courtney & Brooks’ wedding day, where to even begin?

First, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention what a lovely experience it was to work with Courtney, Brooks, and her family. Truly, some of the kindest people I’ve had the pleasure of working with in my 12+ years of business. The wedding and ceremony were at Courtney’s family home so all of our design and logistical decisions were kept in mind with what would work best with the property. This is my favorite thing about residential weddings, we can build out the property in a truly personalized fashion and design the flow around how the couple envisions the day.

One of the most special elements was the twinkling light canopy over the tree-lined dance floor. This was one of Courtney’s top priorities and took some time to work through the logistics of the lighting installation, but wow, the results were amazing. This just goes to show, where there is a will there is a way, and knowing what your priorities are is key.

Courtney and Brooks are high school sweethearts, now share a wedding anniversary with her parents (hello, so special), and the sailcloth tent the reception was held under complemented their property perfectly.
