Urban Ethereal Wedding Inspiration

Every profession calls for occasional Continuing Education, new certifications, shadowing, etc. to sharpen your skill set and stay up to date in your market.  For those of us in the wedding industry the same can be said for Inspiration Shoots.  These shoots give us the opportunity to flex our creative muscles and create a design based entirely on personal inspiration.

When Lauren Friday and I began discussing this shoot our vision was clear - the design would have an Urban/Edgy feel, while keeping timeless details.  Once the venue (The Goodyear Building) was decided, cultivating the details was seamless.  If you aren't familiar with The Goodyear Building, it was a longstanding auto-repair shop in the heart of downtown Charlotte.  In the wake of Charlotte's growth Goodyear was sold and remained vacant for months, until becoming a residency for local artists (thanks to VTG CLT).

Fun Fact - just a few short months following the shoot our models got engaged.  Can you believe this is only their practice round in a gown and suit?
